Every Valentine Season I check out the stores for all the cute pink and red love themed kitchen accessories. It’s my dream to one day have a pink kitchen so I’ve been slowly building my collection for the past few years.

This year at Target I found this adorable small charcuterie board with a heart shaped bowl for dips. I love charcuterie boards or what I grew up calling “snack trays”, but I don’t always want to wait until I have a party to have one. Most boards are too big for one or two people but this one was the perfect size, so I knew I needed to get it.

After purchasing, I started seeing all of these Valentine Charcuterie Board pictures on Pinterest and was inspired to make one myself. Especially since the board I got fits the theme so perfectly!

I’ve made a video of my process on YouTube for you to watch, but I’ve also put everything you need to make a beautiful board right here for reference. Since my board was so small, I had tons of ideas that didn’t make the cut, so I’ve also included those in case they work out for you!

Making a Valentine Charcuterie Board for Two

First things first, you need a board. As stated above, I got mine at Target! However I’ve found some similar small sized boards on amazon for your convenience.

This post contains links to products that I have researched or used that I think you would enjoy based on the article you are reading. I used to be an Amazon Affiliate to receive a commission. I am no longer apart of the program but I still wanted to share these products because I truly believe in them and think they will come in handy! Using my links to purchase is no extra cost to you!

Valentine Themed Snacks to Try

Most of the Valentine Charcuterie Boards I saw were mostly sweets. This makes since when you note how typical Valentine’s foods are chocolate or candy based. I personally decided to keep with that theme because I only had so much room, and I don’t particularly like opposing tastes touching each other. I’m weirdly picky about what foods I like to place together!

I did include some savory options in my next section so keep reading if that’s something you’re interested in!

Other Ideas I didn’t Use:

When you are doing a smaller charcuterie board you only have room for so much. Here are some other options that I didn’t include on mine.

Cheese and Deli Slices

Extra points for using a cookie cutter to shape them into hearts! You could also shape the meat into spirals around each other to mimic the look of roses.

Red Bell Peppers

Specifically red to go with the colors of the season.

Valentine Fortune Cookies

I saw these when I was on amazon looking at Valentine treats and just HAD to include them! These would also be perfect for a Galentine’s Party Favor!

Rice Crispies

Make them with pink, purple and red sprinkles to make them more festive, or buy them pre-made.

Cherries

Basically any red fruit will work!

Edible Flowers or Glitter

I would have included these on mine if I had thought of it earlier, because look how cute!!

Watermelon Slices

You know what I’m going to say…cut them into hearts!!!

Red Velvet

Whether it’s cookies cupcakes or something in between, anything red velvet screams Valentine’s Day!

I had so much fun creating my Valentine Charcuterie Board!

This is something I’m definitely going to add this to my Valentine’s traditions! It was such an easy and fun way to celebrate the season of love.
